This is Damescene, and he is holding Kevin, one of the children of a single mom with HIV we assist through our mercy program. But in this post we will talk about Damescene...
Damescene is one of the boys from the original orphanage that we voluntered at 10 years ago!!!! He has been a part of the Transition house program for the last 5 years!
He has now just finished secondary school and will be going to University next year!!! We are very proud of him and he has become like family to us...
Here is a message from him:
hello, hello, hello, "Noheliziza n'umaka mushya muhire wa'2013" that means merry christmas and happy new year 2013 in kinyarwanda.
I think you are okay, in your country and are our friends. I pray for you every day because of all activities you do in your dally life.
I wish mona and ezra the blessing from God. I want to tell you that I finished with my secondary school and I think I did very well in the National Examination, because I did it with all the strong confidence i have.
I think when the chance comes then I will come to canada to visit, if my dreams came true.
Thanks. God be with you in all activities.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.
From Damascene.
Thanks to all the donors and supporters for helping us help him for all these years as we watched him grow into a man!!!!
