When we started our Work in Rwanda we felt very called to assist teenage boys. With all the emphasis of developmental work being on girls and HIV/AIDS, which is great but, we felt the boys would turn into another army if no one helped them out of poverty, and to receive an education. So even though they were not the norm for a sponsor child, we started the Transition House for teenage boys.
And so here is a prime example of the drive they have and what great things can come if someone gives these young men a chance. Julias, pictured here is 21 years old but in grade 12!!!! Many young men would not even bother finishing school at this age, so we are very proud of him and all our boys who have gone back to school and are years behind but keep pressing on! They are the future of the country and we long to teach them to reach out to others and pass on the Grace that has been given them. Thanks to his sponsors and please consider helping us help them as well by donating to Narrow Road on the Love Global website.
