So, what is a Champion? This is a question we hear all the time at Love Global so I thought I'd take a moment to explain. A quick Google search of "champion" yielded the above images... but don't worry! You don't have to be a superhero or grow a ridiculous beard to be a Champion at Love Global!
A Champion's simply someone who believes in a missionary and decides to step up and cheer them on. Champions are just everyday people who choose to use their voice (including their skills, time, and networks) to amplify the voice of a missionary. Some Champions have thrown fun parties to raise funds for their missionary, some have given up their birthdays, and others have gone months without beer or coffee. There's lots of creative ways to get the word out and support your missionary.
Champions can also use their Love Global page to post pictures and videos, post prayer requests, or re-post cool stories from their missionary's page. The idea's to support and encourage your missionary as you help them raise funds and awareness for their great causes.
